Description

Bonwit Teller window display featuring a women's ensemble with a short Empress Chinchilla fur cape. The background of the window display is inspired by Shakespeare's "Macbeth", with an elaborate painting of a scene featuring Lady Macbeth. The mannequin is wearing a gown with the chinchilla fur draped over the shoulders, jewelry, and heeled shoes. The mannequin is standing with its back to the window. A banner at the bottom of the display reads "The Gala Fur... Natural Empress Chinchilla Cape... Fur Salon Fourth Floor... Gala Premier of the Old Vic on Tuesday evening October 23rd at the Wintergarden... our setting inspired by Shakespeare's Macbeth."
