Description

Bonwit Teller window display featuring women's ensembles by Tina Leser. The mannequins are posed between two bamboo easels which display original shell mosaics of sea life by artist Carl Malouf. One of the mannequins lies on the floor in a dress with a scallop trim, while the other one stands wearing a longer dress and bracelets. The floor is covered in sand in order to compliment the beach style that the mannequins are wearing. A banner at the bottom of the display reads "Bonwit's Sea Belles... our exciting '55 collection for South by Tina Lesser… Sports Fifth Floor... Bonwit's Sea shells... original shell mosaics by Carl Malouf"
