Bonwit Teller window display featuring safari themed ensembles designed by B. H. Wragge. This window is a part of a series where an exciting collection of stuffed animals are posed alongside the mannequins against solid backdrops. The floor is covered in brown confetti to emulate a textured dirt floor. The men’s ensembles include safari hats and khaki jumpsuits. One mannequin holds a tropical plant leaf. The women’s ensemble includes a light dress and jacket, gloves, jewelry and a purse with a cheetah print scarf tied to the handle. The men's safari ensembles on both sides are borrowed from Abercrombie & Fitch, a high-end outfitter of sporting goods at the time. A banner at the bottom of the display reads "Winging South, Bonwit's fashion safari... an exotic new look captured by our own B.H. Wragge in the exciting colors of the Congo... See our collection on the Sports Fifth Floor."
