Bonwit Teller window display featuring Trésor by Lancôme. Page includes photo and description of perfume displays. The display window has been framed down in size and features a backlit photograph of a domestic scene with model Phyllis Cooke in a fur trimmed coat, and bottles of the perfume placed on the bottom of the display. A banner reads "Bonwit's Mid-Summer Madness...Vermeer’s woman with pearls readies for cocktails at the Ritz/ our inspiration, Trésor by Lancôme/ our model...Miss Phyllis Cooke."


July 4, 1954/ Bonwit Teller, New York, N.Y./ Cosmetics/ Dis.Dir. Gene Moore/ Setup: An aura of high-fashion glamour pervades this series of unusual window that feature varied perfumes, each window displaying one brand name. The windows have been framed down to two-and-a half by three feet, and this display area has been placed at eye level. Beige and white overall print paper covers the rest of the window area. A white frame set in to this panel holds a translucent photograph set back about two feet. Lights are placed behind the photograph. Pin point holes cut under the perfume bottles carry lights through the bottles from beneath the floor./ Card Copy: Bonwit's Mid-Summer Madness...
