Bonwit Teller window display featuring a women's ensemble by Tina Leser. The mannequin is playing a mandolin and mimics the pose of the figure in the painting. The ensemble displayed is a light colored dressed style with a jacket. According to the sign at the bottom of the window, this display was inspired by the "Watteau look", presumably referring to the style of French painter Jean-Antoine Watteau. It appears that the painting was intended to both highlight the dress and emulate the style of Watteau's paintings.
