Beachwear ensemble with a belted jersey swimsuit and linen-lined canvas cover-up (shown in two colors) that was featured in the 1968 Parsons School of Design annual fashion show. As indicated on the reverse side of the illustration, the critic of this piece was womenswear designer Rudi Gernreich and the model was fellow student designer Donna Faske, who later became known as Donna Karan. The back of the illustration also includes detailed information about the materials used and their prices, as well as a layout for the pattern pieces. Three fabric samples are attached to the front.
