A lecture in the course Civil Liberty Under Attack, the 1954 Sidney Hillman Lecture series on Civil Liberties. The Sidney Hillman Lectures offered "an analysis of the most pressing civil liberty problems of our day, viewed in their historical, legal, and moral contexts and against the background of the demands of internal security. In this lecture Eleanor Roosevelt speaks as former chairman of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights.
