A class in pictorial journalism, at the New School for Social Research, leading adult education center in New York, where older students are welcome on equal terms with young people. They may work for degrees - many do - study painting, creative writing, or any of the 400 and more courses in the social sciences and liberal arts offered by the New School. Over 10,000 students attend New School classes each year.
