Description

President of the New School for Social Research John Everett and former president and co-founder Alvin Johnson unveil a bronze plaque in the recently opened Graduate Faculty building, located at 65 Fifth Avenue. The year 1969 marked the fiftieth anniversary of the New School's founding and Johnson's 95th birthday. According to the March 31, 1969 edition of the New School Bulletin, the plaque was to be unveiled at a special ceremony on the evening of April 25, preceding a gala open house event.
