Description

All-over pleated evening dress featuring a sleeveless bodice, wide v-shaped neckline, and floor-length skirt with train. Long strips of fabric cross over the bodice and hang in wide loops from the shoulders, as shown in a small view of the back of the dress. The sketch includes six swatches of silk chiffon fabric in shades of purple, pink, and orange, which are attached to a tag from Coudurier, Fructus & Devigne. It is unknown what color(s) was used to make this design.
