1937 – 1938
9 in (width) x 11.75 in (height)
Day dress featuring a midi-length skirt, wide pointed collar, short sleeves, and what appears to be rows of small buttons along each side of the middle torso. The dress also features a narrow trim that outlines the collar and sleeves, extends down the sides of the front, and appears to create a surplice effect on the bodice. The sketch includes a small swatch of unknown brown fabric and a view of the back of the dress showing two more rows of the narrow trim, as well as two sets of buttons on the back waist.
