Bonwit Teller window display featuring an evening dress designed by Christian Dior. The mannequin is also styled with opera gloves and a purse. The background features a painting inspired by "Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme"-- a five-act play filled with music, dance, and singing. A banner at the bottom of the display reads "Bonwit's collection for the great nights, gown by Christian Dior. Designers Six Floor. Great nights at the Broadway theatre, with the Comedie Francaise."
